” Loadshedding has caused me to basically close my company” – Man sadly explains.
The power crisis in South Africa has gone out of hand. South Africans now spend upto 12 hours a day without electricity. People of the country are not happy about this, however, some people have even had to close down their companies.
One man took to social media to explain ” Loadshedding has caused me to basically close my company. After 6 years of being self sufficient, and supporting my family, I’ve had to seek employment elsewhere. I couldn’t compete with the bigger guys with industrial generators, so I lost work. Thanks @Eskom_SA”.
Loadshedding has not been easy on anyone, including companies. If you do not have alternative power, unfortunately you might find yourself losing out on profits.
People commented and said:
” This is the heart breaking reality of many. It is not only about @Eskom_SA it is more about @MYANC that have allowed the rule of law to be eroded. Our country desperately needs that to be re-established so that there is no place for tender rigging and so on. We must hope”.
” I also cannot go further with the business and will be closing it down in Feb. I don’t think the government has the faintest clue what small businesses face daily. They dont understand or care about the impact their failures caused. Strength to us all”.
Eskom and the government needs to do something about this now as things are only getting harder for the people of South Africa. Businesses are closing, people will lose their jobs while the economy also suffers. Something needs to be done as fast as possible.
