Lindiwe Dube, a well-known sports presenter, has recently confirmed the end of her marriage to pilot Sibusiso Nxumalo. After just one year together, the couple has decided to go their separate ways, with Lindiwe expressing her gratitude for two things in her life – the birth of her son and leaving her toxic marriage.

 

The couple started dating in 2021, got engaged in October 2021 and tied the knot in March 2022. In a tweet shared on Friday, Lindiwe acknowledged her divorce, stating, “Yes, I am going through a divorce. That’s all I can say.”Although she did not delve into the specifics, sources close to the presenter have revealed that she has been seen without her wedding ring, indicating the demise of her marriage.

One source shared their observations, saying, “I knew something was wrong when I saw her starting to use the Dube surname rather than Nxumalo, even on her social pages. Now, with her recent rants on her social pages, I think they’re heading for a divorce soon.”

Another insider shed light on the challenges faced by the couple during their marriage, stating, “Their marriage was filled with nothing but sorrow, as they were continuously at loggerheads about their social lives as a married couple. At some point, she even went back to her parents’ house in Daveyton [east of Johannesburg].” According to reports, the marriage ultimately ended due to its toxicity.
