Calls are growing for Ukhozi FM to reinstate its former presenter, Linda Sbiya who was fired back in 2014.

It has been exactly eight years since he left the public broadcaster. Although he joined the Kwa Zulu Natal commerical radio station, Vuma FM but he also left there. After leaving Ukhozi, Sibiya joined Mzansi Magic to host his talk show which also came to an end.

His fans now wants him back,not just to any radio station but precisely at Ukhozi FM. They claim that since he left, his position at the SABC has been left in void. No one has replaced him or rather no one has reached his level,so they say.
 

Sibiya was fired on the allegations of corruption with the company that was set to hold the awards for Ukhozi FM legendary presenters. Although at a later stage he won that case but he never returned to the station.

As there are rumours that Metro FM is reinstating Tbo Touch, some people want Ukhozi FM to bring back Sibiya too.

According to the news editor of Isolezwe, radio stations have reinstated some presenters as we have seen Robert Marawa being reinstated at Metro FM before, The Kings of the Weekend SPHEctacular and Naves, Nomalanga Shozi in Gagasi and Zimdollar in Ukhozi FM. Now,they want Sibiya to be reinstated too.
