It has been quiet a while since Lesego Marakalla, popularly known as Rachel Kunutu on Mzansi popular television series Skeem Saam disappeared from our screens. Her fans will be delighted to know that she is back with a bang, after taking a hiatus from the acting scene to focus on her studies full-time.

 

 

 

 
Lesego became a darling of so many television viewers after she landed her role on the award winning soapie a couple of years ago. Her shady behaviour on the show topped trends on social media, making her a favourite to many viewers.

After playing Rachel for almost a decade, she announced her departure on social media. According to previous reports, she took a break to focus on her studies full-time. Fans have been wondering about her whereabouts since she left the screens and lived a private life with less media exposure.

The young actress has however made her debut on Generations the Legacy last night. Lesego is playing the character of Winston’s partner in crime. Although it is not yet clear on how long her character will last for, fans are excited to see her back on the small screens.
