Legendary Radio 2000 DJ Announces His Departure From His Show And Listener’s are Not Happy.

Legendary Radio dj Ike Phaahla has announced that Sunday 27 March will be his last day presenting his show on Radio 2000, With over 30 years of experience in the radio industry across different radio stations like Metro and SAfm.

Ike Phaahla who currently host the show Retrospective every Sunday’s between 6pm and 9pm where he used to play golden classic music, his departure means that the station will be doing a reshuffle, although the station hasn’t announced the actual new line up, it’s listener’s are expected to see the new changes coming into place from the 1st of April 2022.
 

The legendary Ike Phaahla was on Metro fm for 19 years between 1991 and 2010, before moving to SAfm in 2011 were he spent 3 years at the station between 2011 and 2014. After announcing that Sunday’s show will be his last show on this current slot, Sports broadcaster Robert Marawa took to twitter to voice his disappointment that he won’t be listening to him again.
