Lebohang “Cheeseboy” Mokoena opens up on struggling with death of his wife

Former Orlando Pirates attacking midfielder Lebohang Mokoena who enjoyed 6 glorious years at the club between 2003 and 2009 has opened up on his struggle coping with the tragic death of his wife, Masentle.


 

 

 

 

“Cheeseboy” as he is affectionately known as who has not officially announced his retirement from football admitted the tragic passing of his longtime sweetheart still does not feel real.

What’s the story?

On Monday, former Orlando Pirates attacking midfielder Lebohang Mokoena opened up on struggle coping with the tragic passing of his wife Masentle whom he knew for 14 years before marrying her in an intimate traditional wedding ceremony in 2014, during his latest interview on Prime Sports with Mahlatse.

The 36 year old Diepkloof born footballer revealed that he has decided to take a break from football so that he can deal with the tragic death of his wife, Masentle, before he can return to the pitch.

In addition, the former Orlando Pirates attacking midfielder who can also play as a left winger and as a right winger also revealed that he decided to go for counselling with his children so that they can come to terms with the passing of his wife.
