Last words from Mampintsha’s mother

It was just last week, when Mampintsha sister Pinky told reports that her mother Zamanguni Gumede, has suffered from a minor stroke, saying she receiving medical treatment in hospital.

This week, Pinky has shared her mother’s last words following her passing on Sunday, at the age of 64.


 

She said that her mother’s last words were a reminder to always stay true to oneself and to never forget where one comes from. Pinky also said that her mother’s last words were a reminder to always stay humble and to never forget the importance of family.

Confirming her mother’s death, Pinky told reports that her mother died at the hospital at 11pm on Sunday.

“She called us at 10pm to come visit her at the hospital, me and my children. When we arrived she said she wanted to say her last goodbyes. She left us at 11pm”. Pinky said, and she also shared what her mother’s last words were:

“She held our hands and gave us all a message. She said she was saying goodbye. Her last words to me were that I should look after the children and she will miss Mampintsha’s son [sponge].

Pinky said her mother’s last words were a reminder to always be kind, to show compassion and to never forget to be grateful for the blessings in life. She said that her mother’s last words were a reminder to always strive for excellence and to never give up on one’s dreams.

She also said she doesn’t understand why her mother left her, saying she isn’t okay.
