Lady Du Reveals How She Nearly Lost Her Life For The Second Time

South African Amapiano Artist and Songwritter Duduzile Ngwenya known to the South African music industry as Lady Du. She is a 30 year old female born and bred in Vooslorus Gauteng.

Lady Du never fails to mention that she grew up from a musical family and that is what influenced her love for music. Her father is also a DJ, known in the industry as DJ Choc who marked his territory in the industry as an RNB DJ. He is one of the people that influenced her love for the music industry.

 

 

 

 

 

 

She studied Somatology in London after receiving a bursary from Carnival City. After studying she was given the opportunity to travel the world and pursuing her career in the Somatology space. She has been to 105 countries worldwide. She decided to leave that career space to come back home and pursue her first love which was music.

After years of trying out in the music scene with no luck and on the verge of giving up she rose to fame after the hit single Umsebenzi Wethu was released by Busta 929, Mpura ft Mr Jazziq, Amaroto and Lady Du. It is after then when her space in the industry was sealed and she released many more hit songs such as uZuma yi star, Catalia, Ngidakiwe and Batlao Hurda and many more.

The Amapiano artist is engaged to be married to Actor Andile Mxakaza. The couple got engaged after four months of dating.

Lady Du once mentioned that she has difficulties breathing but she is grateful that she can manage a 25 minutes set performing and has never had a problem.

She recently took to Instagram to mention once again that she has had a tough week because she had a tough stroke when she got back from work, she could not breath or walk properly. She has been taking it easy for the past week but she is currently in a different space.
