There are many things that certain celebrities would like to do or be part of but unfortunately, they cannot. Mzansi’s musician, Lady Du is one of those celebrities.
 

 

 

 

Lady Du with the real name Dudu Ngwenya is a South African musician who has been in the entertainment industry for a long but did not immediately make it to the top. She is an Amapiano artists and was friends with the two late artists which were also part of the group being Killer Kau and Mpura. Dudu Ngwenya is popular known for having made headlines this year when she revealed that she was the most educated among celebrities with more than five qualifications. Lady Du since from birth has been battling against a condition and is unable to do or part be of certain things.

Dudu Ngwenya is battling against a lung condition. She was born with breathing problems and up to this day, she is referred to by health professionals as a miracle baby. Lady Du took to social media opening up about her condition and things that she cannot do because of it.

“Something personal I’d like to share with you guys, it has affected me for years now. Since i was born, I’ve had breathing problems. I cannot do any activity for more than a minute. So sometimes, I’ll look very tired and drained still give it my all but as soon as i get home, i get weak. I’d love to go to the gym but i can’t, I’d like to run on a hill but i can’t. I’d like to play with my daughter running after her but i can’t. I can’t seat in rooms with smoke, i can’t eat certain fruits”, Lady Du said on Instagram.

Speaking to Daily, she added “I consider myself as a very adventurous person and like other people, i would like to go hiking, swimming and do all the other outdoor activities but i can’t. Sometimes when i go to an event to perform after i am done, i don’t remain behind and socialize because of the environment I’m in.I don’t want to end up passing out in the middle of people”.

It is so sad that Lady Du’s condition is stopping her from doing a lot of things especially having to play with her daughter. There is no child throughout the world that would not want to play with it’s mother, she has no choice but to understand that her mother cannot afford to risk with her life for playing with her otherwise, she could end up loosing her. Lady Du also needs to accept being unable to do those things, her health matters more than all the other things.

However, it is good that the condition that does not really affect her career, she is still able to entertain the public and do her best in performing. May she in the end get help with the condition.
