LaConco from RHOD gets unfairly mocked after TikTok video gets shared on Twitter

Those talents might not involve dancing however after a video surfaced.

Twitter is one of those places that require a sense of coldness when trying to navigate it. It was during one if these such scrolls that I discovered a video shared by a user for an unrelated hubbly tweet, the focus became LaConco instead.

A video that uses the face tracking filter from TikTok. The effect can be a little but jarring. This was why LaConco was teased relentlessly for it having a “scary effect” on her. The comments about her looking lim a shark were far from appropriate but such is life on the Twitter streets

Social Media Response
For the most part, people claimed to be unsettled by the video.

One user wrote, “I think the “unusual” thing is that the video edit is using face-tracking software which still looks very unnatural”

A final user wrote, “You tweeted this for what??? opening up spaces for people to openly hate on black women is weird.” Defending LaConco from the onslaught on mean comments.

Personal Thoughts
I don’t understand what it is that makes people very confident to be able to mock someone online. Perhaps it is the anonymity that being online provides that makes people act recklessly. I can understand joking but honestly it’s a little too much to allow open mockery this way. LaConco may not always be a favourite of the majority of people on Real Housewives of Durban but she’s still human. She deserves respect too.
