A hotel manager who doubles up as a businesswoman had had great success in her career path.
Claudia Gerber works at the Alton Boutique Hotel and she has really made strides in the business world.
She was this morning interviewed by a local radio station were she spoke about her drive and passion for he hospitality sector.
Gerber has a strongly rooted legal background which allows her to ensure that all human resource regulations are fulfilled and all compliance regulations within the hospitality field.
Meanwhile, go getter and real estate agent Senzeni ‘Senzy’ Mdluli’s determination to succeed has been a shining light for her business and for those who cross her path.
Her passion for the work she does was recognised by Gugu Zulu – a local resident who was struck by the Zululand businesswoman.
Zulu says she met Senzeni through her real estate business and, while it was her professionalism that grabbed her attention first, Senzeni’s compassion, heart, and drive stuck with her.
For Senzeni, being raised by a strong woman who was also self-employed was motivation enough for her to succeed.
Born and raised in Matshana reserve, Senzeni matriculated at Khombindlela High School and went on to work in finance for six years before taking the plunge into the world of entrepreneurship.
“I joined the real estate industry because I wanted growth, to develop my interests, and to move from salary-earning,” she said.
Her vision for her business is to build more branches and create more employment opportunities.
“I see myself with five more branches running in different cities, more job opportunities created – especially for the youth – and being the best real estate agency,” she said.
Although her business is fairly young, she hopes to use her platform to reach out to those in need.
