A proud moment for a Kwa-Zulu Natal based baker as she shares her biggest milestone on social media. This lady goes by the name of Ayanda Mkhize also known as Ayadish on her social media platforms. Not sure if she’s related to MaMkhize but Ayadish is a professional baker who was once unemployed like many other young people in South Africa and the rest of the world. Ayadish’s life turned around two years ago when equipped herself with baking lessons and she is still on fire with her scrumptious bakes.
Ayadish recently bought herself her first car from the money she made from baking and well as teaching other people on how to bake. She normally hosts online classes where she teaches baking at the comfort of her home. The classes start from as little as R 100 to R250 per lesson and are conducted through MS Teams app. Her baking lessons range from baking scrumptious scones, melting moments biscuits, snowballs, Woolies inspired cakes to your favorite December holiday desserts.
Ayadish is one inspirational baker and mother to a four (4) year old boy. Her followers were inspired by how she continues to reach her milestones and remain positive after going the stress of being unemployed. All it took her was to gather her strength after the loss of her mother, five years ago and get out of her comfort zone. She may not be famous like the likes of Siba Mtonga and others; however she is slowly but surely making an impact in the livelihoods of other fellow bakers.
This is what she had to say about being unemployed:
“2 years ago I was unemployed, I couldn’t afford much but I knew this wasn’t my life and only I could change it, today I bought my first of many cars, CASH” she said.
