During an interview Kuli Roberts was asked how she would like to be remembered and her answer was outstanding. This is what she said:
“I don’t want to be remembered, I want you guys to just look after each other.” She went on to say, ” I need you guys to look after black people. I need you to stop insulting black people and saying black people can’t swim, because remember that we were the ones saving the sailors when they were settling on this continent. ”
She was indeed a wise woman, who has wise words of wisdom. She understood the spirit of “Ubuntu” and she had Ubuntu. These were her last words of wisdom. I hope that everyone follows and lives up to these words. We need each other as people, cause at the end of the day all we have is one another.
May her soul rest in eternal peace 🙏
