Nkateko Mabunda (born 2003) is a South African actor best known for her role as Mixo in the SABC2 Telenovela Giyani-Land Of Blood. She also had a role in Mjolo Ke Pandemic a Mzanzi Magic Original movie.
Born in South Africa, Nkateko grew up in a township in Pretoria where she found her love for performing and film making.
She finished her matric in 2020 and got accepted for performing Arts course at Tshwane University of Technology in 2022. She was also part of a Musical Theatre cast during the same year and still managed to shoot for Giyani while as a first-year student.

 

 

Nkateko Mabunda joined Mehlareng in 2022 and just after signing a contract we sent her to Audition for a new role on Giyani: Land of Blood S2-3. And she made sure that she brings it home and from this Monday 06 February 2023 we will be seeing Nkateko on Giyani: Land of Blood S2-3 playing the character of Mixo which is a new character that will be part of a new Family that will be joining Giyani.
