The highly anticipated action-packed film series Kings of Joburg will finally be gracing our screens this December. The Fergusons just shook the industry following their announcement that the series will premiere on Netflix .

The series features a star-studded cast which include, Zolisa Xaluva who plays Mogomotsi “Mo” Masire, Sthembiso Khoza as Cyrus, Abdul Khoza as Lester, Tsholo Matshaba, Cindy Mahlangu who plays Phumzi, TK Sebothoma as Tlotlo Masireand, Buhle Samuels who is the wife to Simon, and the creator himself Shona Ferguson who plays Simon “Vader” Masire.

The series will hit Netflix on December 4, 2020, and the hype around it is massive. In a trailer shared on Instagram by Shona, the series tells the dark tales of the city of gold. Crime, fighting, and arrests are the order of the day, as loyalties are also tested.Shona recently bagged a deal with the international streaming service, Netflix after he posted a snap of him meeting the top dogs of Netflix. The producer posted a picture of him alongside some creatives around a dinner table which he captioned, “@netflix round table.”

Early this year Shona shared a picture posing with the male cast of the show and the TV heartthrobs left many social media users thirsting for them.
