According to the republican 1996 Constitution of South Africa’s Zulu country, Goodwill Zwelithini kaBhekuzulu was the current King. After the passing of his father, King Cyprian Bhekuzulu, he ascended to the throne in 1968.

 
 

 

 

 

In 2004, King Zulus Goodwill Zwelethini wed Zola Zelusiwe Mafu for the sixth time. She is his sixth Queen, and they share a son, his last-born Prince, together.

After spending weeks in the hospital, King Zulu Goodwill Zwelethini recently passed away at the age of 72. When Zola Zelusiwe Mafu was barely 17 years old, he reportedly married the 35-year-old woman. They were wed in 2014.

Like former president Jacob Zuma, Goodwill Zwelithini had 28 children and grandchildren before he passed away, though the exact number was not made public. He also had six wives.

According to a source, Zola married the King in 2004 and the two welcomed a child in 2005. They were only able to wed in 2014.
