Radio personality Khutso Theledi bids goodbye to YFM as she will join Metro FM. She has been with the station since the early years, and she is now a radio powerhouse. Tomorrow is the last show for the presenter, on drive time show called The Lady On Drive. Kutso was the first female to hold the showdown when Dineo Ranaka was the presenter. Not many female DJs get the opportunity to have drive time shows on their own in Mzansi, but, Kutso is just that good.

She will be joining Dj Mo Flava on the Metro FM breakfast show. Kudos and Mo have had a great radio relationship over the years. She calls Mo her big brother as they are so close. When Khutso was still starting on Y, she spent some time being a producer for his show. The two will be reuniting, and a spark will reignite on the airwaves.

The morning drive and drive time are the two biggest slots in the radio world. In the morning, people commute to school and work; in the afternoon, it’s pretty much the same story. She is not leaving a big slot for a small irrelevant slot, and she will uphold her relevance in the radio world.

People say you aren’t a radio presenter without ever working on YFM. Of course, that’s not entirely true, but many radio hosts started on Y. Mo Flava; for instance, he was on the YFM drive time slot before joining Metro. Mpho Maboi is now a sports anchor, but she also moved from Y to Metro. Dineo Ranaka, now on Metro FM, was once on Y FM. Bonang Matheba, Bujy Bikwa, Unathi Nkayi, and Dj Sabby are also part of the lot. Her big break happened when she got the midday slot, and she stayed on that show for over two years. After Dj Sabby left YFM, Khutso got his drive time slot. Fans commended her for reaching that level.
