Khusela Diko’s Husband dies in East London Hospital

Chief Thandisizwe Diko II dies. Thandisizwe was the husband of the beleaguered President Cyril Ramaphosa spokesperson Khusela Diko. According to Newzroom Afrika, he died in hospital last night.

The couple made headlines last during the Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) tenders in Gauteng. It is believed that they used their relationship with the then MEC for Health Bandile Masuku to get the tenders. At first the couple denied to have accepted the money, but the reports from the Sunday Independent newspaper revealed otherwise.

Masuku was subsequently fired by the the Premier David Makhura. On the other hand, Khusela was given a leave by President Ramaphosa. The details surrounding his death is still unclear but as soon we have the full details we will update.
