Khuli Chana and Lamiez Holworthy R20 million mansion in Pretoria

Award-winning disc jockey Lamiez Holworthy and her rapper husband Khuli Chana has been topping the trends on social media after throwing a lavish party as they celebrate their third anniversary and revealing that they were pregnant. The party was hosted at their million-dollar mansion in Pretoria, and Sophie Ndaba did wonders as their event planner. In the wake of the glamorous celebrations that Khuli and Lamiez threw, questions have been asked if the couple are the actual owners of the mansion they used as their venue or if they hired it for their event. The couple owns the villa, and it’s situated in the heart of a game reserve on the outskirts of Pretoria.

In 2020 Khuli and Lamiez invited TRUELOVE magazine to experience their new home. The mansion is like a bit of heaven, with two giant-sized canvases on the front, making it harder to notice whose home it is.

Welcome to my home. What you see here is our little piece of heaven. We chose this estate, particularly because it’s secluded, quiet and safe. Most importantly, we get to take walks on the game reserve amongst zebras and buck.

Khuli and Lamiez’s villa is a double storey with bedrooms upstairs and downstairs, a kitchen, lounge and dining area. The kitchen is unconventional; there are SMEG appliances and Le Creuset cookware which shows that the couple has a taste for finer things.

I have always wanted a beautiful kitchen that I would enjoy being in, even though I don’t like cooking, I wanted a kitchen that would inspire me to cook and that’s exactly what I have

Lounge

The mansion has non-structural walls (glass), utilised only to keep the weather out and the occupants in. Lots of light comes through the house as the areas overlooking the pool and boom are purely glass.

Our lounge is comfy and intimate as this is where we spend most of our time as a family. Personally, I didn’t want a lounge that looks like a museum. I wanted it to be homely, where no one ever feels uncomfortable about sitting somewhere because it might break

The couple’s love for art is evident as beautiful pieces hanging around the house, including sculptures, paintings and photographs. However, a ceramic portrait of the late Winnie Mandela is the most striking.

My husband loves art and he has enhanced that love in me. I have always loved South African artists and Khulane taught me how much of an investment art is. Not only is every piece in our home special, but is also an investment

Lamiez Holworthy and her rapper husband Khuli also opened up about their struggles while building their house. It was stressful for them, and sometimes they will not agree on certain things, but they defied all odds, and now they cohabit in their mega-mansion.
