Khanyisile Mbau is a South African actress, musician, television presenter, and socialite. She was born on October 15, 1985, but is more commonly referred to by her stage name, Khanyi Mbau. Mbau rose to fame after playing the role of the second Doobsie in the soap opera Muvhango (1997–2004), which was broadcast on SABC 2;[3] as Mbali in the soap opera Mzansi, which was broadcast on SABC 1, and in the mini-series After Nine, which was broadcast on SABC 1. As of the year 2018, she is the host of the entertainment show The Scoop, which airs on SABC 3, The Big Secret, which airs on BET Africa, and she plays Tshidi on Mzansi Magic’s Abomama.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

In March of 2018, Mbau became a cast member on South Africa’s most popular television show, Uzalo, which airs on SABC 1. She plays the role of the ambitious shoplifter Dinekile, also known as Lady Die. Dinekile aspires to live a life similar to that of her cousin MaNgcobo.
