If you’ve ever wanted to take Khanyi Mbau on a date, now might be the time to take your shot. The multi-talented television and music personality opened herself up to the possibility of dating again for the first time since she and Tebogo called it quits earlier in 2020.
But be warned: Khanyi has made it clear that she has very specific criteria for the kind of man she would be willing to go out with!
What Khanyi Mbau is looking for in a date
At the beginning of the new week, Khanyi took to Twitter to announce that she was finally ready to go out and step back into the dating world. The Mbau Reloaded star wrote on Twitter, “I feel like going on date a very handsome rich man 2moro night , Serious people only. Ps. I said handsome and rich. Tag me”Although there were a number of chancers on social media, as well as the usual number of trolls, Khanyi paid no attention to them insisting that she only wanted to go out with men who would be able to foot their portion of the bill without any hassle. However, things took an interesting turn when fans noticed that she had recently snapped herself alongside the handsome and charming Duduzane Zuma.
Khanyi and the son of the former president stood side by side and although there was no further explanation, people have reached their own conclusions that something could be brewing between these two.
While we have no evidence of any relationship just yet, it’s worth noting that Duduzane does fit Khanyi’s criteria of “Handsome and rich”.Moving on from the Tebogo breakup
Back in July this year, Khanyi Mbau broke up with her boyfriend of 10 years, Tebogo Lerole, this time for good. The lovers had broken up once before in 2018. But this time around the reality TV star confirmed that this split would be the final one when she wrote on Instagram, “Guys, we have been here before, certainly words I uttered before…. Our second attempt grew us even further apart. Tebogo Edward billion has chosen to take a different path and have chosen to respect it and let him soar in his greatness (sic). And by this, we are no longer an item,”Khanyi has not spoken publicly about the breakup although she did offer some insight on one of the first episodes of her new reality show, Mbau Reloaded where she claimed that her family was extremely interested in finding out how and why things fell apart between the two of them. In the second episode of the season, her younger brother Lasizwe paid her a visit and appeared to be quite nosey about the whole affair, despite Khanyi’s caginess.
Perhaps all she needed was some time to heal and find herself before stepping out and dating again. What kind of man do you want to see Khanyi end up with?
