Attorneys for vocalist Kelly Khumalo have asked the Pretoria High Court for admittance to the court in the Senzo Meyiwa preliminary.
The preliminary returned on Monday for one more round – where the questioning of state legal advisor Tumelo Madlala continued.
Five men are being pursued for the 2014 homicide of the Bafana chief.
He was killed at Khumalo’s Vosloorus home who was his better half at that point.
Toward the beginning of the preliminary in April, Khumalo’s legal counselor, Magdalene Moonsamy was approached to leave the court with Judge Maumela saying this was to protect the virtue of the preliminary.
Peruse: Senzo Meyiwa murder preliminary resumes
Procedures started off on Monday with state Supporter George Baloyi tending to the court on a letter from Kelly Khumalo’s watching brief Magdalene Moonsamy.
In the letter addressed to Pass judgment on Tshifhiwa Maumela, she reminded the court that Khumalo was similarly a casualty of a burglary that the denounced have been accused of.
She mentioned to be available in court to see every one of the material parts of the consultations.
Both the state and guard legal counselors have gone against this solicitation.
Subsequent to rebuking Moonsamy for neglecting to address the court through appropriate channels – Maumala maintained his underlying decision for her to recuse herself from court procedures.
