Kelly Khumalo stands as a sixth person who was supposed to have been arrested for the murder of her football star boyfriend, Senzo Meyiwa.
Judging by time, nearly a month has gone by into the trial of five men accused of murdering the Orlando Pirates gloveman.
In the first place when Teffo, who’s representing four of the accused, told the Pretoria High Court that there had been a warrant of arrest for the songstress, Kelly Khumalo, what happened to her, nothing. Why was she not arrested? She has been deeply implicated but to no avail.
By taking a close analytical approach to statements and interviews, Kelly is still sticking to her statement, that a botched robbery led to Meyiwa’s death.
A clear detailed certificate with reasons why Khumalo is not in the Dock alongside with the five accused is of paramount importance and it’s the bigger piece of the puzzle missing.
Kelly Khumalo, Gladness Khumalo, Zandile Khumalo, Longwe Twala, and Maggie Phiri, Tumelo Mandla and Mtholhozisi Twala are people who were with Senzo Meyiwa when he met his fateful day in 2014.
It is labelled as Exhibit C, an unsigned indictment that implicates the above mentioned names. The unsigned indictment points out that the culprits should be charged with murder and bending the ends of justice.
