It has now become thing for people to go on about how there is a necessity for the so called “cancel culture” and seems like attempts to get it to become part of everyday life have constantly failed.
Now, people know that there is the toxicity that comes with this, it allows people to end someone’s life and in most cases, there is no proper understanding of the situation.
And obviously, there is so much that people do not understand about the Senzo Meyiwa trial, let alone the supposed role that singer Kelly Khumalo, supposedly played in the whole thing.
For years, there have been a series of investigations, but till this day, we do not know what happened and who really killed Senzo, which is unfortunate because what we know is that Kelly and a few other people were in the house.
One could say that this has given people enough reason to point fingers and decide who is guilty, people have mentioned that the truth is being hidden from the public.
As it is, it seems like the case will never be solved and some people have accepted this, but if people let this go, then this likely means that they will not change their views about Kelly.
Some people hate Kelly so much, they think that her intention is to move on and not reveal what she knows, no matter how much pressure she faces.
Kelly has talked about this, she is aware how people feel about her, she has mentioned on some occasions that she is innocent and she had nothing to do with Senzo’s murder.
People find this hard to believe, hence there have been calls for Kelly to be cancelled, people have mentioned that she cannot move on with her life as long as the trial is still ongoing.
Kelly decided to talk about this yesterday, she mentioned that she was going through social media the day before and came across a tweet that she should be given a second chance.
But according to the singer, no one has the right to decide who gets a second chance, only God can give as many chances as one needs to do some self introspection.
Then, she mentioned that people can try to cancel, but God does not cancel, he gives chances, so if He chooses to bless, He will do so in the middle of a cancellation.
