Singer Kelly Khumalo’s Lawyer says Kelly has nothing to do with the suspects that appeared in court. This comes after reports that Kelly’s name appears on the court papers on the case of the killing of Orlando Pirates Goalkeeper Senzo Meyiwa.

These past weeks Kelly Khumalo’s name appeared on the investigation papers when 5 suspects appeared at Magistrate court in Boksburg. Colonel Bongani Gininda’s statement said police should track records on a cellphone that Kelly was using by the time Senzo was murdered and also investigate on the statement made by a Loan Shark who claimed Kelly borrowed money to hire a hitman from him.

Speaking to eNCA, Kelly Khumalo’s Lawyer Magdalene Moonsamy denied that Kelly has any connection with the suspects. She said investigation, statements and everything that happened the police analysed it long time ago. She assured that Kelly doesn’t even know the suspects.

Magdalene said Kelly is not guilty of anything especially on the case of Senzo Meyiwa’s death, she also denied the rumours on social media that Kelly might face jail time.
