Kelly Khumalo celebrated her mother, Ntombi Khumalo’s birthday with photoshoots, decor and an expensive party. This has become a norm in Mzansi among celebs to honour their parents’ birthdays expensively. We saw this when Shauwn Mhize celebrated her birthday, and Andile and Sbahle Mpisane bought her beautiful presents and an expensive birthday cake. Indeed, Kelly did not disappoint on her mother’s birthday, and it seemed that she was getting back to the family person we knew she was during her early days.

For a long time, Kelly and her mother, Ntombi, had quarrelled and never got along well. Indeed, no one would want such a bad relationship with their mother or daughter. That complicated relationship strained both of them, but it seemed they were now best buddies. They are as close as ever before as they cover the lost time they spend hurting each other. Kelly and Zandi celebrated their mother’s birthday in a manner they had never done before. For many years, the two daughters faced a lot and didn’t do such a big birthday for their mother. Together they hired expensive decor, catering and the pictures team to celebrate their mother’s special day. They bought expensive wines and beers as they invited friends and relatives to help them to wish their mother a happy birthday.

Upon arriving at the venue, Ntombi could not imagine the love her children and family had shown her. The older woman born on the 10th of October had the rest of the night in joy and happiness, and she later thanked God for another year.
