The famous influencer took to Instagram to share the heartbreaking news that her mother is no more. In a post, Kefilwe wrote “RIP Mom💔💔💔💔….. What a very sad day for me. Matlhodi Dorothy Mabote 30/12/2020. I’m so shattered I never saw this coming,” she shared.News of her mom’s death sent shockwaves across social media platforms and messages of condolences are pouring in. Lasizwe commented on her post and stated “Oh no!!! My biggest condolences to you and your family 😭 eish 2020! May her soul rest in eternal peace.”

Thabang Molaba commented “Condolences Kefi,” accompanied by a sad face and heart emojis. The two have been fueling romance rumors recently and we wonder if they are a new pair in ZAlebville or just friends. This follows after Kefilwe recently attended Thabang’s birthday celebration which was hosted in Cape Town.

Kefilwe then had tongues wagging when she shared an image of herself and Molaba hiding in the back. “Well, it seems like I may have blown my cover! The secret is out😛. This is why certain parts of my images are blurred… Swipe left for confirmation.” She captioned the snap.

Another star who recently lost her mom is Model and businesswoman Ayanda Ncwane, who recently shared that her mom has passed on. In a post on Instagram, Ayanda posted of picture of herself with her mom and captioned it, “Yah neh. How does one even say rest In Peace MOM How? Her fans took to her comments section to send their messages of condolences.

This year has been a rollercoaster ride for Kefilwe. This follows after tweeps dragged her into her wealthy boyfriend Edwin Sodi’s controversial multimillion-rand asbestos audit contract saga. Just recently the entrepreneur trended on social media after he was arrested on corruption charges.

The Hawks seized over R300 million worth of his possessions and over twenty-five luxury cars. Following this drama tweeps dragged Kefilwe and said she also allegedly benefited from the millions of rands made from the tender and alleged that her opulent lifestyle is maintained by the money which is allegedly injected into her lifestyle by Edwin.

Taking to her Instagram stories Kefilwe said she works hard for her money. She said she is her own blesser and she works hard for the finer things she enjoys in life.

Kefilwe further said she will release a book to name and shame her attackers. Apart from this drama Kefilwe had a tremendous year as she is now an official franchisee of Tasty Gallos.
