Kamogelo Mphela (born November 29, 1999), also known as Kamo Mphela, is a dancer and singer from South Africa. She gained Internet fame after posting a video of herself dancing to her social media account. Her interest in dancing began at a young age, when she accompanied her father, who worked at YFM, to events where she performed on stage and danced, which eventually led to her gaining greater exposure through live performances. She later gained popularity by releasing videos of her dance abilities on Instagram. [4] Before pursuing a career as a dancer, she tried acting and got an opportunity to be an extra on the television serial opera Isibaya, but she realized acting was not for her and began performing at gigs. Her dancing abilities ultimately earned her the title “Queen of Amapiano.”
