Khune posted Mazhamba and captioned his now-deleted story ‘Future.’ Takalani Mazhamba has since been dubbed the next Itumeleng Khune.

He has wowed many with his ball distributions and saves. His unmatched flair has since thrust him into the stardom. In the backdrop of his newfound fame, his private life has been kept under wraps to protect his image as a teen.Mazhamba has been winning big with Kaizer Chiefs as the first-choice goalkeeper for the Youth Academy. His flair has since undoubtedly seen him playing for the National U-17 in several competitions, including the Africa U-17 Cup of Nations 2023.

Kaizer Cheifs have also given him a nod. During the preseason, Amakhosi reportedly invited six DStv Diski Challenge stars to first-team training, and Mazhamba was one of the stars.

Rumour mill said he was invited alongside Mfundo Vilakazi, Thulani Mabaso, Siyabonga Gumede, Puso Dithejane, and Neo Bohloko. Undoubtedly, the six DDC stars have been earmarked as potential future stars.
