Kairo Forbes, the daughter of DJ Zinhle and slain rapper AKA shared new clips of her New York birthday trip with grandmother Lynn “Glammy” Forbes via an Instagram Reel on Saturday 1 July.

 

Kairo is celebrating her eighth birthday with a New York trip. This marks Kairo’s first birthday without her dad slain rapper Kiernan Jarryd Forbes, popularly known as AKA. AKA was shot dead outside of Wish restaurant on Florida Road, Durban on 10 February, along with his friend Tebello “Tibz” Motsoane.

Her mom Ntombezinhle Jiyane, popularly known as DJ Zinhle, planned the trip for herself, Kairo and AKA’s mom Lynn. However, DJ Zinhle lost her passport in Dubai airport and had to fly back to Johannesburg. While Kairo and Lynn flew to New York without their luggage because it was in DJ Zinhle’s name,
