The fans of slain Orlando Pirates and Bafana Bafana goalkeeper Senzo Meyiwa will be marching to the Pretoria High Court on Friday, 6 October.
This is according to the organiser, Sinqobile Maphisa, who told Zimoja that the peaceful march is dubbed #JusticeForSenzoMeyiwa.Maphisa said the march is to call for impartiality from presiding judge Rath Mokgoatlheng and fair treatment of all counsels. Judge Mokgoatlheng has previously come under scrutiny for his alleged prejudice towards the defence counsel.
“The demand for docket 375 to be commissioned is also on the agenda, as well as the arrest of all who were in the house at the time of Meyiwa’s murder. Additionally, the five accused in the case to be released and relevant witnesses are being requested to come forward to provide evidence that could help solve the case,” said Maphisa.SENZO MEYIWA MURDER TRIAL: DOCKET 375
