When it comes to matric results, Limpopo province is always one of the schools that didn’t perform well; every year they don’t make it to the top 5. Many people have been trying to investigate what might be lacking in this province, but they never seem to be making any changes. According to some people’s opinions, the reason why children in Limpopo don’t pass well is that they don’t have as much support as those in other provinces like Gauteng; our deep sense of health doesn’t provide much support like in other provinces; another example is discipline at schools; many schools lack discipline.

 

 
 

As we are nearing the day of matrix results, people are very scared and curious about the performance of children. Recently, there are trending photos as people are spitting out the Limpopo children who were caught on camera drinking alcohol inside a classroom; some were even drunk laying on the tables. Those photos were taken back in November, but they are emerging now since the results are a few days ahead; one of the people even said let’s wait and see their results.

 

 

On the trending photo, a young lady could be seen holding a bottle of beer and drinking it inside a classroom. Another one could be seen sitting on a desk with her eyes closed; you can tell that she was drunk. This is what’s happening in schools nowadays; if you go to the restroom, you will find empty bottles and used match sticks to show that people were smoking something, and after that, they expect better results.

 

 

In my opinion, I believe that if the government wants to increase the performance in Limpopo schools, they must appoint white principals. Honestly, most of our principals lack discipleship; they don’t even care; all they care about is salary. White people are more disciplined than us.
