Jerry Sikhosana is arguably one of Orlando Pirates greatest all time strikers. ‘Legs of Thunder’ as he was affectionately known had a love and hate relationship with retired Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeper Brian Baloyi.
It is now 25 years ago when he delivered a hattrick that crunched Kaizer Chiefs in their 4-1 win during the Bob Save Super Bowl encounter in 1996.
The legendary Jerry Sikhosana even until to this day, is the last players to score a hattrick in the Soweto Derby. The legendary footballer was also part of the Orlando Pirates squad that went to conquer the African continent in 1995.
Post retirement he has had a coaching spell in the Vodacom league and is currently an ambassador with South Africa’s betting company Hollywoodbets. The retired footballer recently took to social media site Facebook to send a shoutout to his wife on her birthday. In his post Sikhosana referred to her as his wife, his business partner and mother of his children.
Sikhosana and his wife tied the knot on April 2017 in beautiful ceremony held in Alexandra and their union has since been blessed with beautiful children.
