On Tuesday, the country wole up to devastating news of Mzansi legendary actor Jamie Bartlett. The question in everybody’s mind was “what happened?”. Several fans were left in shock as the actor was seen in high spirits just hours before his death. Bartlett, who is fondly known as David Genaro was a charismatic fellow who was adored by many. Details of his death were kept undergrads and people were wondering. The family of former Rhythm City actor Jamie Bartlett has finally revealed the cause of his death. The Bartlett family has confirmed to eNCA that he died of a heart attack.

 

 

 
His son Hector Bartlett spoke to eNCA saying the family is blown away by the support from his father’s fans.

Earlier today, Bartlett’s partner opened up about her loss.got the autopsy results, and they said it was cardiac arrest,” Jamie Bartlett’s partner, Rosa Onious, said. Bartlett died in his sleep on Monday evening. The emotional Onious said he had taken an afternoon nap, as he usually did when he was not working. She said she tried to wake him up at around 17:00 so he could leave to meet up with his boys, but he did not wake up. “I said Jamie, Jamie, [but] Jamie didn’t look up,” she said. Onious said she tried once again to nudge him to wake him up. An ambulance crew tried their best to bring Jamie Bartlett back to life.
