Kaizer Chiefs captain Itumeleng Khune has played alongside some of the finest players who ever donned the gold and black jersey of the club ever since he was promoted to senior team in 2006.

 

 

 

The product of the Kaizer Chiefs Youth Academy recently showed that his greatest teammate will always be his wife Siphelele Makhunga whom he married in two traditional wedding ceremonies in 2020 and in 2022.

The 35 year old Ventersdorp born goalkeeper who was withdrawn from the Kaizer Chiefs starting XI before the kick off on Wednesday night ahead of his club’s league encounter against TS Galaxy has taken to social media to gush over his wife.

What the story?

On Thursday, the seasoned goalkeeper took to his official Instagram account where he shared a video where his wife was captured in the VIP section at the FNB Stadium during Kaizer Chiefs match against TS Galaxy.

In addition, the Kaizer Chiefs jersey number 32 also decided to share one his photos where he was greeting the club’s supporters who came out in large numbers. As part of his caption, the 2012/13 PSL Footballer of the Season award winner then wrote, “Jersey No.32”.

In a different post on his Instagram stories, “Spiderkid” as he is affectionately known as showed that he is never shy when it comes to supporting the love the of his life who happens to be the founder and owner of Eminence Florist.

The Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeper took to the popular platform where he shared a video where he had accompanied his wife to one of her stalls at a petrol station where she sells her fresh flowers. As of late, Siphelele has taken to her Instagram stories where she shared that video and as part of her caption she wrote, “Thank you for accompanying me”.
