I’ve come to realise that satisfying a person is one of the hardest things you would ever try. There are those Tv drama series/ telenovelas or soap operas who usually get awful remarks due to their storylines. Muvhango is one of those soap operas that usually get criticism from people in social media platforms.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Muvhango is the South African soap opera produced by Duma KaNdlovu which started in late 90s, airing on SABC 2 week days at 09h00. The soapie is in the top 5 of most watched drama shows in Mzansi yet it doesn’t get enough viewers recommendations. All they ever do is to criticize the actors and storylines.

Sharon Seno who was playing the role of Marang has been fired from the show due to the the awful remarks she was getting from viewers, telling her how bad her acting is. Now they’re doing the same thing to Angela Atlang who plays the role of Itseng; James’s little half sister. Ever since she joined the show in August 2021, people have been saying that she’s a bad actress and boring.

Just as they were complaining, about Itseng, ‘Mother’, played by …. stepped in and that’s where the storyline got spiced. However, viewers don’t find the storyline of Itseng and ‘Mother’ interesting, they even threatening to stop watching the show if they don’t leave.

As I was busy scrolling into my Facebook app, I bumped into the post shared by Tinashe Eugene Mushanguri, who always shares South African soapies’ updates like teasers. He posted an update of Muvhango attached with Shudufhadzo Mathagwa who plays the role of ‘Ndiwavho’.

Well, some of tge people were complimenting her, yet some were saying that she is boring, but much better than Itseng. When I check out the comments, almost everyone is complaining about Itseng and ‘Mother’ storyline being so boring and annoying.
