‘It’s not giving Zimbabwe’, said social media users after 21-year-old model Brooke Bruk Jackson won Miss Universe Zimbabwe.

SK Pop reveals that beauty queen, Brooke Bruk Jackson received social media backlash after she won Miss Universe Zimbabwe 2023.

The publication adds that Jackson defeated 11 finalists to win the title and she’ll now to compete in the upcoming Miss Universe 2023 pageant in El Salvador, this month.


 

The 21-year-old model, beauty therapist from Harare said after winning: “My heart is full of joy and gratitude. Thank you to each and every one of you for your kind messages and support. God is good”.

“I have gained this crown for our beautiful country, to love and to serve our people, to represent Zimbabwe Internationally and to show the world the uniqueness of Zimbabwe and Zimbabweans.”

“I want to be an example of grace, understanding and inspiration to the youth of Zimbabwe, to instill the spirit of ‘ubuntu’ and know that together we are strong and anything in life is possible,” added Jackson.Jasmineheaux: “With a population that is 98 percent black. This baffles me. But hey, go off.”
