Ntando was born in Orange Farm in Johannesburg. She was raised by her mother and grandmother. Ntando has 3 siblings. Her father unfortunately left when she was 3 years old and died in 2008.

When asked about her childhood she said that “We didn’t really have much to go around, so the circumstances did not really allow for any of us to have pocket money or attend expensive schools. We managed, however to have a normal childhood. Like any other child in the street we would play games and didn’t really worry about what was happening at home.”

Career
When Ntando was younger, she dreamt of being a lawyer then being a teacher. When she tried her hand at the entertainment industry, she never looked back.

She started her career as a Vine star. One could say she had a knack for social media. Ntando then made her debut as a presenter on Sistahood, Craz-e and ShizNiz. She then went on to be selected to present alongside newcomer Lwandle Mbelu on Craz-e.

A year later, still with e.tv she joined Rythm City as Zinzi Dandala. She was one of the 6 celebrities featured on Tropika Island of Treasure on the island of Curacao in the Caribbean.Besides acting, she is also a model. She was featured as part of 2015 Soweto fashion week runway.

Ntando is the founder of the Inspire A Teen SA foundation. It is a Youth Development campaign in South Africa with the aim of inspiring teenagers. It’s a foundation that I started back in 2010 and what we aim to do is give back to the community. We donate matric dresses to Kwa Bhekilanga Secondary School in Alex, Sandton. We collect the dresses from Spectacular, designers etc. and we send them to the school.

Ntando was cast on season 5 of The Queen. She plays the character of Mpho Sebata, the daughter of Detective Hector Sebata, the character played by Rapulana Seiphemo.
