You know him as the presenter of SABC 1’s controversial TV show, Nyan’ Nyan’’; a show that seeks to mend toxic relationships through the confessions of dark secrets.

Luyanda Potwana has recently made a confession of his own recently. He has gone to his official Facebook page to let his followers know that he is in the journey of becoming a spiritual healer/ witch doctor

The East London born presenter says he has kept this part of his life a secret because he was rather ashamed of his ancestral, spiritual calling but has since realized to embrace it.

After all, I am my ancestors  – and my ancestors are me!”, Potwana adds.

Potwana says he hasn’t complited the journey , as he is still “umkhwetha”, a person undergoing the process of becoming igqirha/sangoma, so people must not think he has a snake when he starts making miracles

He says he has three gifts:

• Intsimbi emhlophe (witch doctor)

• Iitasi / ulugxa  ( traditional healer)

• Ukuthandazela (healing with prayer)
