The journey of another news presenter has come to an end and viewers will no longer see her on SABC 1 as from the end of this month.

Lisakhanya Pepe is a South African media personality known for being on the broadcasting side of the entertainment industry. She is known for being a Xhosa News eader on one of the South African Broadcasting Corporation (SABC) channels being SABC 1. Unfortunately, Lisakhanya is leaving the SABC after being part of it for a decade. She is moving to Newzroom Afrika and will be an anchor for a show called Lindaba Zethu as from the 27th of February.

 

 

 

 

Pepe speaking on leaving the SABC as a news reader said, ” To be honest, I’ve got mixed emotions. The SABC opened doors for me 10 years ago. Me leaving was an unplanned decision, it cmame very unexpected”.

“However, i believe people need to grow. We can’t be sitting in the same place. I wanted to move to something else, maybe producing or being behind the scenes. However, that plan completely changed when this opportunity presented itself”,Pepe said.

“I’ve worked for the SABC for years and i had to grab this opportunity to be one of the people reading the news on MultiChoice and Newzroom Afrika’s first-of-it’s-kind-offering”, Lisakhanya Pepe added.

Congratulations are in order for Lisakhanya Pepe for bagging a new opportunity. She has served the SABC as a news reader for a long time, now it is time for her to create a new name for herself somewhere else and fot her to grow at another company becoming more of what she already is.

May she continue doing what she does best which is informing and updating viewers with all that is happening throughout the world.
