Isibaya Actor Dumisani Dlamini Is Doja Cat’s Father

South African actor; Dumisani who plays the role of Eric on Muvhango and the role of Mbodla on Isibaya is an international Popstar; Doja Cat’s biological father. Doja Cat’s real name is Amala Ratna Zandile Dlamini.

Dumisani Dlamini is an actor, composer, and film producer best known for the 1992 South African film Sarafina which stars Whoopi Goldberg. Dlamini played the role of Crocodile in Sarafina.

 

Dlamini became a household name in the 90s for his role as the villainous Chester in the controversial local television series Yizo-Yizo, besides his popular role on Sarafina. Yizo-Yizo and Isibaya are both produced by Bomb Productions.

When Doja met Whoopi Goldberg, she told the veteran actress that she knows and co-starred with her father; Dumisani Dlamini, in Sarafina! “I’m just thinking about my dad ’cause he was in Sarafina! So seeing you and meeting you is like the craziest thing,” Doja told Whoopi.
