Thando’s mother was unable to contact her daughter because Siyacela was using Thando’s phone.

We know that Thando is under a lot of pressure since her parents are doing everything they can to get closer to her. Who knows? It’s possible she can reunite the individuals she cherishes.

As soon as Siyacela pressed him on the phone issue, he avoided speaking with anyone, not even Thando’s mother. A few seconds after they’d arrived at the same location, they began squabbling.

Thando’s mother was clearly offended by Siyacela’s use of nasty language, but he seemed unconcerned.
