Is this end of Shepherd Bushiri?

Things are really not going well for self-proclaimed prophet Shepherd BushiriShepherd Bushiri, he was first charged with fraud, theft and money laundering here in South Africa before he left to Malawi. Now he is denied to host miracle night crossover at Bingu stadium, according to the letter, the stadium will be undertaking maintenance in planning for CAF examination which will occur in early January 2021. The Bingu National Stadium management has rejected the application of Enlightened Christian Gathering Church leader Shepherd Bushiri; this means he will not be able to use the stadium for his miracle night cross over service on the 31st of December which he announced on social media.

The service is normally held at the FNB Stadium in Johannesburg, this year it was announced that the service will take place at his home country Malawi. The stadium stated that the event is most probably to fascinate people beyond its standard capacity and this will break Covid-19 protocols. In a letter issued by the church’s Ephraim Nyondo on Friday, the management stated that the stadium did not accept the request because in spite of communication that the number to go to will be abridged, the service is most expected to attract people further than the usual volume of the stadium.

The self-proclaimed prophet is now in Malawi after escaping South Africa with his wife after being granted a R200, 000 bails last month, the couple failed to follow the bail conditions since they were not allowed to skip the country until their trial is completed. The Bushiris and other accused were taken into custody in October and they were charged with fraud, theft and money laundering worth more than R102 million.
