A few months ago there were quite a number of articles written about MaNgcobo leaving Uzalo, is it possible that she may have decided stay and continue with her amazing role on Uzalo?

It was revealed early this year that Uzalo would lose three of its leading role players which are, Baby Cele who is known as Gabisile, Siyabonga Shibe who is known as Qhabanga and Dawn Thandeka King who plays MaNgcobo.

Baby Cele (Gabisile) has already left the sopie and Qhabanga hasn’t been seen ever since he sold the church. Now we are waiting to see if MaNgcobo will really leave the show or not as it was announced that she would be starting a new role on Diepsloot.

Besides wanting to grow in her profession as an actor, there are other reasons for her to want to relocate to Joburg which involves uniting her family as some of her children are already living in Joburg.

Nothing new has been said about her living Uzalo which means nothing has changed. We may only hope that Uzalo will be able to replace the actors they are losing and continue being the number one watched show on SABC 1.
