South Africans on social media are still shocked following veteran record producer and musician Sello “Chicco” Twala’s revelation that he is DJ Lamiez Holworthy’s father.
CHICCO TWALA SAYS HE IS DJ LAMIEZ’S FATHER
Twala confirmed the news after he was seen at Holworthy’s only son’s christening ceremony at the weekend. The former Live AMP presenter shares 10-month-old Leano-Laone Zion Morule with her husband, rapper Khulane “Khuli Chana” Morule.
“Yes, Lamiez is my daughter, but I won’t go into details,” Twala told ZiMoja.

According to the publication, Twala and Lamiez’s mother (Imelda Klow) met through a mutual friend when they were young.
When asked about Twala’s claims, Klow – who is also Lamiez’s manager – said she would not answer questions about her intimate business.
“You are now tapping into my intimate business. Let me tell you something, and you can quote me, f**k you!” the outlet quoted her as saying.

OLD POSTS RESURFACE
However, fans are now more interested than ever as they’ve started digging up Lamiez’s old social media posts.
In a December 2020 post, the DJ opens up about being overwhelmed as she had buried her biological father on the same day she had to honour her bookings.

The post reads: “Between gigs, time with family, burying my biological father this morning and having to rush to gigs again- all the women in me are tired. This year has been such a rollercoaster BUT my heart is still full. I am at peace and got to see God and my ancestors show up for me so much.”

My father? The man who raised me? The man who treated me like a princess?
He came in to my life when I was 11. He wasn’t my biological father but he was an amazing dad. https://t.co/xklLQhEdr3
