Matthews Rantsoma is currently one of the most talked-about actors on TV. All of this is owed to his appearance on the e.tv show Scandal! The rising star is killing it in the part of Nhlamulo Maseko, and fans can’t wait to see him in action.

 

 

 

 

1. Matthews Rantsoma, a 26-year-old Tembisa native, was born and raised there.

2. Since high school, Rantsoma has performed and produced theatrical plays. He began playing in theater in Grade 10, but it was not until later in his life that he began to make a name for himself.

3. He, like most actors these days, has put money into his education. The Market Theatre Laboratory was part of Rantsoma’s schooling (Certificate in Performance and Skills Theatre).

4. His theatrical works include Ngale Kwendu, Errors SA, Ekasi Lam, One Man Show, and Season 7 of Center of The Less Good Idea.

5. Rantsoma has also performed a play called Hanni the Legacy, for which he had to conduct extensive research on Chris Hanni. Mzansi Magic’s Gomora has also featured the budding star.

6. The aspiring actor has recently joined the cast of Scandal!, where he portrays Nhlamulo Maseko, a young Forex trader.

7. Nhlamulo is a well-off young man who enjoys the finer things in life. The intriguing figure is also well familiar with the township. Is, on the other side, engulfed in baby mother drama.

Rantsoma had to acquire a lot of township slang for this job. He was fortunate in that he could seek assistance from theatre professionals, instructors, authors, and directors. Actors like Themba Mkhoma and Jefferson Tshabalala were also mentioned.

9. His ability and enthusiasm have not gone unnoticed. Nhlamulo has been selected the 2019 winner of the prestigious Naledi Award.

Rantsoma is fluent in four languages: Setswana, Sotho, Pedi, and isiZulu.
