Actress Busi Lurayi has passed away in the early hours of the morning on 10 July 2022. Today a memorial service was held to honor her. The funeral of the actress was held privately but Busi’s memorial service was streamed live on YouTube.

Her fellow actors and actresses gave tributes and spoke about how Busi Lurayi was such a talented woman. They spoke about her warm and bubbly personality. People from City ses’la, ses’top la, Sokhulu and partners and how to ruin Christmas gave tributes on what it was like working with Busi. Gosepl star Dr Tumi also gave sang beautifully. It is so sad to lose such an amazing actress. It was also revealed that she just shot scenes for etv’s soapie, Scandal.
