In South Africa many footballers in the top tier league are intimately connected to the church.
These professionals often display their christianity on the field of play during the course of their nomadic careers but also in their private lives.
On Sunday retired Mamelodi Sundowns captain Teko Modise and his beautiful wife Koketso Chipane whom he secretly wedded in two wedding installments in 2018 and in 2021 took some time to welcome their four month year old son Kgosi into christianity.
The couple opted to have an intimate ceremony sharing this special moment with their close friends and family. On the day Teko Modise’s wife who is employed as a Market Risk Analyst at the South African Reserve Bank (SARB) decided to take to her Instagram stories in a series of pictures and videos to give glimpses inside their son’s baptism.
In the pictures that Koketso shared on her Instagram stories to her 36 000 fans and followers to give an insight to the event, baby Kgosi could be seen wearing a white outfit with complimentary black stripes. During the celebrations that were held at an unknown venue the theme was blue and white with a touch of silver.
From findings on the day during the celebrations catered food was served to the lucky few guests who were fortunate enough to receive an invite from the couple. A beautiful blue and white cake was also seen inside the venue where the event took place.
