‘AT PEACE’: SISANDA QWABE GOES DOWN MEMORY LANE
Sisanda Qwabe’s life has changed dramatically from the time she was a little girl from KwaZibi in KwaZulu-Natal. Not only did she fall in love and marry a French man, and also become a mother to her incredible boys, but she has also won millions of South African hearts when she pulled off all the stops to help out a popular homeless man known as Bonga ‘B.O.N.G.A’ Sithole.

“Where I was raised (KwaZibi) VS where I am raising my children (In Sandton). I am so excited to reintroduce myself, the struggles I went through were preparing me for this very moment.”

“I am at peace, I am happy and I am focused! Never allow pain to control your mind! Dreams do come true,” she added.Qwabe has been working hard to change the circumstances of her friend, Sithole’s life. The popular street dweller ended up in the street after his father who was a taxi boss was murdered, IOL reported. She has managed to land several gigs for Sithole, including being a voice-over for a finance specialist company, Fundi. While many locals may mock Sithole and be apprehensive of his drug recovery and future success, Qwabe on the other hand has continued to rally behind her friend and even brings him around her home.
