Inside Lionel Messi’s R204 million Waterfront Mansion

A few months after his move to Major League Soccer, best known as MLS, Lionel Messi has found a place to call home after months of house hunting.

Lionel Messi has reportedly splurged $10.8 million, amounting to R204 million, on a waterfront mansion in South Florida.Confirmed reports have it that the 975-square-meter mega-mansion is located in Bay Colony, one of the lavish gated communities in Fort Lauderdale, South Florida.

Over the years, several celebrities have called the gated community home.

 

 

In 2022, the property was sold for a whopping $9 million. Reports have it that the estate is nearly five miles from Inter Miami’s current stadium, DRV PNK Stadium.

Lionel Messi joined Inter Miami from PSG, and his debut on 21 July. He has been phenomenal.

Confirmed reports have it that the purchase of the mega-mansion was handled by a firm linked to Alfonso Armisen, who helps the star manage his investments.

Undoubtedly, Lionel Messi is expanding his real estate portfolio in Florida, adding to his existing luxury condos in Sunny Isles Beach. Rumour mill has it that he also has several properties dotted across Europe.
